Seed Stage AgTech Start-Ups Invited to Submit Solutions in Climate-Smart Agriculture; 10 Companies will Present to Leading Agri-Food Corporates, VCs and VIPs; Entries open until January 28, 2022.

The World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit is inviting agtech start-ups to apply for its pre-summit Pitch Day on March 21, 2022, designed to spotlight new talent across the industry.

Following a shortlisting process with the judges, 10 selected innovators will pitch their solutions in front of five seasoned investors and an invited audience of leading agri-food corporates, VCs and VIPs, in an invitation-only pre-summit gathering at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.

Together, the judging panel of investors – Eric O’Brien, Fall Line Capital; Amanda Donohue-Hansen, Cultivian Sandbox; Renée Vassilos, The Nature Conservancy; Sanjeev Krishnan, S2G Ventures; Paimun Amini, Leaps by Bayer – will give each of these exciting start-ups the opportunity to explain further detail of their technology applications and business model, through focused Q&A.

Entries are invited from companies developing climate-smart solutions for agriculture that achieve outcomes in increased profitability and biodiversity, enhanced resilience and reduced emissions, including, but not limited to technologies in:

  • Sustainable Inputs
  • Seeds / Genomic Technologies
  • Monitoring / Sensing / Analytics
  • Precision Applications / Irrigation
  • Crop / Farm Management
  • Fintech / Marketplaces
  • Automation / Robotics

One of the ten dynamic start-ups will be chosen by the judges to present live on stage at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in front of its senior delegation in San Francisco, plus the worldwide audience watching online – boosting their visibility to over 1,500 technology-focused agri-food delegates. All finalists will benefit from guest access to the summit, and enhanced visibility through media and communications.
